Rather than leveraging existing hydrogen generation technologies, URIPP took an entirely fresh approach to unlocking the energy potential of the world’s most abundant resource. Using nature as the basis for inspiration, URIPP designed a generator that “makes creative use of natural regularities to go beyond what nature itself can achieve” (Schiefsky, 2007). In other words, URIPP’s generator preserves the electro-chemical properties of water decomposition, while arranging this reaction in a way that maximizes energy output.
URIPP’s generator achieves this optimization through its patented design, from the spacing of its internal and external components to its unique shape and form. The result of this invention is the production of oxygen and hydrogen gas on-demand for use in existing energy technologies as well as in standalone generator units. This adaptability is key as it enables extant energy sources to work more efficiently and also facilitates the rapid adoption of this invention on a global scale moving forward.
